Tuition:

The cost of class tuition varies depending on the length of the class, and includes the instruction, course materials (where applicable), copies of templates (where applicable), use of shop facilities and equipment, a light continental breakfast and mid-day snack, gourmet lunches and--for classes of one week or more in length--a mid-week barbeque dinner.  Other woodworking schools may offer more inexpensive tuition but then crowd the class with anywhere from 12 to 30 or more students.  Limiting the classes to six students ensures that each participant receives the personal attention a project of this caliber deserves.  The goal at Chidwick School of Fine Woodworking is to teach you the skills required, not just take you through the motions.

Registration and payments:

You may register for the course by clicking here and printing out the registration form, then mailing the completed form, along with a check or money order for a minimum deposit of 20% of the class tuition, made payable to:

Chidwick School of Fine Woodworking, LLC.

146 Crooked Pine Rd.

Stevensville, MT 59870

Classes are small and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis so please register as soon as possible.  Your spot will be held upon receipt of your registration form, along with the required deposit.  Payment in full is due before the start of the first day of class.

Refunds:

If, for whatever reason, you have to cancel a class, we will refund your deposit in full (minus a $35 registration fee) if the cancellation is received in writing 45 days before the class date. A 50% refund of the deposit (minus the $35 registration fee) will be given if the cancellation request is received in writing 30 days prior to the class date. Later cancellations and "no shows" will not receive a refund but rather, may apply their deposit to a future class for up to a year.

All students will be given a full refund (including the registration fee) if Chidwick School of Fine Woodworking is forced to cancel a class.

“Andy's chairs are some of the most comfortable chairs I've ever sat in. His ability to make something so comfortable out of such beautiful wood renews my faith in old world craftsmanship and hard work paying off. Thank you Andy for all your help.”    -Ross
